When we are in moments of fear, doubt, worry, helplessness or overwhelm we react from our wounded hearts. When we become triggered due to abandonment, rejection or betrayal, we tend to close up our hearts, become reactive, project onto others, withdraw, blame and make up stories about the situation. We may go back to when we were little and felt a similar threat. When this happens our sacred temple heart is closed off, no longer available to receive or for the Divine to reach us.
We cannot heal our wounded emotional closed heart from our wounded nature. We must heal our wounding from the sacred heart, that is pure and connected to Divinity.
The number one cause of death among women is heart disease. Last year the United States spent $207 billion in health care services, medication and lost productivity. At the turn of the century hardly anyone died of heart disease. We can bring this reservoir of energy to our human heart, to our breasts to fill and nourish ourselves up.
The antidote to our stress filled life and dis-ease is creating heart coherence. Heart coherence like the regular beating of a drum refers to the physiological function of the heart that causes it to beat in a consistent, rhythmic, orderly manner. We can learn to regulate our internal states be creating elevated emotions (heart coherence) at will, independent to our external environment.
Our hearts act as a magnetic charge and we can change our biological energy -and when we change our energy, we changer our lives. This is the process whereby we create a new state of being which creates a new personal reality.

When your heart becomes coherent, it has a positive effect on virtually every organ. Your nervous system responds by increasing the brain’s energy, creativity and intuition. When the heart and brain are working together, you feel more whole, connected, and content - within your own body and with everything and everyone. This wholeness you feel consumes any feelings you may have of want and lack. From this place of creative wholeness and oneness, you are no longer creating from duality or separation or waiting for something outside of you to provide relief from the internal feelings of lack, emptiness, or separation, instead, you are becoming more familiar with your new, ideal self and creating new experiences of yourself.
If you keep activating your heart center enough times during each day, in time you will feel more like your future has already happened. We access our divine nature, become selfless, less affected by separation and more likely to make changes for the greatest good of everyone. The energy of the heart is being fulfilled and at peace with yourself and the surroundings. When we embrace the feelings of the heart, it leads us to give, nurture, serve, care, help, forgive, love, trust and so on. When we are in heart coherence, we can’t help but feel filled up, whole and complete.
We can actually choose to cultivate and experience elevated emotions, the coherent signal of those emotions reach the brain and if the amplitude of the signal is high enough, chemicals equal to those feelings and emotions are released into the body. The energy of your whole state of being is elevated. If you are feeling an elevated sense of well-being in a safe environment, the energy of those feelings sets in motion a cascade of at least 1,400 biochemical changes in the body that promote growth and repair.
The heart expands energy and when you rest your attention in your heart to create and sustain elevated emotions, that coherent energy causes your heart to beat like a drum. It’s that coherent rhythmic beating that creates a measurable magnetic field around your heart, and thus your body. The stronger the coherent rhythm, the more expanded your field becomes.
When you feel lower level vibrational emotions, the signal from the heart to the brain becomes incoherent, and this triggers the release of approximately 1,200 chemicals into the body equal to those feelings. This chemical dump lasts approximately 90 seconds to two minutes. In the short term, the stressful feelings are not harmful, they can in fact if resolved improve your resilience. The long term effects of unresolved survival emotions put the entire body into a state of making you vulnerable to stress-related health challenges. These survival emotions draw from the field around your body, causing you to feel separate and materialistic because your attention is focused on matter, your body, the environment, time and the source of your problems.
The HMI has found that what we feel on a minute-to-minute, send-to-second basis influences the heart, and that our feelings and emotions are a key aspect of unlocking “heart intelligence.” Because feelings and emotions are energies that emit powerful magnetic fields, the stronger the higher vibrational feelings, the stronger the magnetic field. In fact, the heart produces the strongest magnetic field in the body - 5,000 times greater in strength than the field produced by the brain. The heart’s magnetic pulse reverberates through every cell of the body from the blood circulation, it also produces a field around your body that can be measured up to 8-10 feet away using a sensitive detector called a magnetometer. When you activate the heart with higher level emotions, you are not only broadcasting that energy to every cell; you are also radiating those feelings into space.
Using electroencephalograms, scientists at HMI discovered that when the heart goes into coherence, the brain waves entrain with the heart’s rhythm at a frequency of 0.10 Hz and also that the synchronization between heart and brain is increased when the subject is in a heart-coherent state. The coherent frequency of 0.10 Hz has been shown to be a state of optimum performance associated with increased access to our deeper intuition and internal guidance.
Once the analytical thinking mind is out of the way, you can drop into states of theta to delta brain waves - the state in which restorative functions in the body take place. The amplitude of energy produced by the heart increases the level of energy in the brain, in some cases more than 50 - 300 times the normal level or more. When we focus on our heart and emotions, the heart’s beating acts as an amplifier. This increases the synchronization between our heart and brain and creates coherence not only in the physical organs, but also in the electromagnetic field surrounding our body.
What this all means is that the quality of our heart’s rhythm influences our overall health. If the heart beats in harmonious rhythms, its efficiency reduces stress on other systems of the body, maximizes our energy and creates states whereby we thrive mentally, emotionally, and physically.
If there is disharmony in our heart rhythms, the opposite is true. This incoherence leaves us with less energy available for healing and for maintaining health and building projects, creating unrest with in our internal states and putting increased stress on the heart and other organs. Heart attacks and heart disease, occur when the body has been under stress for extended periods of time. When we intentionally choose higher vibration emotions, such as gratitude, our bodies respond positively and we enjoy improved health.
